Frozen is an American computer animated musical
fantasy-comedy film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and released by

The Snow Queen, and will be the 53rd animated feature in the Walt Disney
Animated Classics series. The film features the voices of Kristen Bell, Idina
Menzel, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad. The film will be released in North America
on November 27, 2013.
Plot
There are two Princesses of Arendelle: Elsa (Idina Menzel),
the soon-to-be Queen, and Anna (Kristen Bell). Elsa has the power to create

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is an American
science-fiction adventure film based on Suzanne Collins' novel, Catching Fire,
the second installment in The Hunger Games trilogy. The film is the sequel to
The Hunger Games, and the second installment in The Hunger Games film series,
produced and distributed by Lionsgate. Francis Lawrence is set to direct a
screenplay from Simon Beaufoy and Michael Arndt. Academy Award winner Jennifer
Lawrence returns as Katniss Everdeen along with Josh Hutcherson, Liam
Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Lenny Kravitz, Elizabeth Banks, Stanley Tucci,
Donald Sutherland, Toby Jones, and Willow Shields also reprising their roles.
Months prior to the first film's release, Lionsgate greenlit
the second film and Gary Ross, director of the first film, was expected to
return as director. However, on April 10, 2012, he announced his departure from
the project due to the tight and fixed production and on May 3, Francis
Lawrence was hired as the film's director. Throughout July and September 2012,
the film's supporting cast was filled out, with Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Sam
Claflin, Jena Malone, Lynn Cohen, Meta Golding, Amanda Plummer, and Jeffrey
Wright brought in to portray key roles. Filming began September 10, 2012 in and
around metropolitan Atlanta, Georgia before moving to Hawaii. The Hunger Games:
Catching Fire is scheduled to be released in IMAX on November 22, 2013 in the
United States.
Plot
After winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games, Katniss Everdeen
returns home to District 12 along with fellow winner Peeta Mellark. Shortly
after returning home, they must embark on a "Victory Tour" of the
districts, leaving behind their close friends and family again. On the day of
the Victory Tour, President Snow threatens Katniss' best friend and pretend
cousin, Gale Hawthorne, outraged after she and Peeta broke the rules of the
74th Hunger Games that allowed them both to win. During the tour, Katniss
senses that a rebellion is brewing in the districts, but the Capitol is still
firmly in control as Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games, known as a
Quarter Quell, an event taken place every 25 years – a competition that could
change Panem forever.
In this Hunger Games, the tributes will be reaped from the
existing pool of victors, making all the other Games look like child's play. As
Peeta and Katniss end up in the arena again (as the only victors of District 12
with the exception of Haymitch), this time surrounded by experienced and
vicious killers, President Snow is determined to eliminate them and destroy the
rays of hope and the sparks of rebellions brewing up in the Districts. Now
Katniss and Peeta must do whatever it takes to defeat their foes and come out
on top once again and ignite the flames of rebellion in Panem.

Thor: The Dark World is a 2013 American superhero film
featuring the Marvel Comics character Thor, produced by Marvel Studios and
distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is the second Thor film
following 2011's Thor and the eighth installment in the Marvel Cinematic
Universe. The film was directed by Alan Taylor, with a screenplay by
Christopher Yost, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, and features Chris
Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgård, Idris Elba, Kat
Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Tadanobu Asano, Jaimie Alexander, Rene Russo and
Anthony Hopkins reprising their roles from the first, with newcomers
Christopher Eccleston, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Zachary Levi and Clive Russell
joining the cast.
Development of Thor: The Dark World began in April 2011,
when producer Kevin Feige announced plans for a sequel to follow the crossover
film Marvel's The Avengers. In July 2011, Kenneth Branagh, the director of
Thor, withdrew from the project. Brian Kirk and Patty Jenkins were considered
to direct the film before Taylor was hired in January 2012. The supporting cast
filled out in August 2012, with the hiring of Eccleston, Dennings and
Akinnuoye-Agbaje. Principal photography began in September 2012 in Surrey,
England with filming continuing in Iceland and London, before wrapping up in
December 2012. Thor: The Dark World was converted to 3D in post-production.
Thor: The Dark World premiered at the Odeon Leicester Square
in London on October 22, 2013. It was internationally released on October 30,
2013, and is scheduled to be released on November 8, 2013 in the United States.
Plot
Eons ago, Bor, father of Odin, vanquished the Dark Elves led
by Malekith, who sought to return the universe to its state before creation
using a force called the Aether. Fighting off Malekith's enhanced warriors, the
Kursed, Bor contains the Aether within a stone column. Unbeknownst to him,
Malekith, his lieutenant Algrim and others escape into suspended animation. In
the present, in Asgard, Loki stands before Odin in shackles and is sentenced to
imprisonment, while Thor, alongside warriors Fandral, Volstagg and Sif repel
invaders from Vanaheim, home of their comrade Hogun; it is the final battle in
a two-year war to make peace in the Nine Realms. In London, astrophysicist Jane
Foster, who has not seen Thor in that time, attempts a lunch date with a man
named Richard but is interrupted by her intern Darcy Lewis. She takes Foster to
an abandoned factory where the laws of physics are upended in spots and objects
disappear into thin air. Foster, after bringing her own scientific equipment to
the factory, is sucked into a vortex where the Aether enters her.
The Asgardians learn a rare alignment of the Nine Realms is
imminent, and at spots where the Realms touch, as at the factory, portals are
created. When Heimdall tells Thor that Foster is no longer on Earth, Thor
begins a search for her there. She has awakened in the factory after hours in
the other realm, and finds herself releasing powerful energy when a police
officer on the scene touches her. Sensing the force's unearthly nature, Thor
brings Foster to Asgard, but its physicians cannot remove it. Odin realizes she
is the Aether's vessel and this heralds a catastrophic prophecy. Frigga—Odin's
wife, Thor's mother and Loki's adoptive mother—takes Foster under her wing. In
holographic form, Frigga visits Loki in his cell to convey her love and
disappointment.
Malekith and his forces, awakened by the Aether's release,
turn Algrim into a Kursed and attack Asgard. Malekith and Algrim kill Frigga
while searching for Foster, and are attacked by Thor, forcing their retreat.
Thor is ordered to remain and protect Asgard rather than pursue revenge.
Following Frigga's funeral, Thor decides to take Foster from Asgard to lead
Malekith away. He reluctantly teams with Loki, who knows a secret portal to
Malekith's world. With Volstagg and Sif guarding his flank, the two commandeer
a Dark Elf spaceship and escape with Foster.
On Earth, Lewis learns that her colleague Dr. Erik Selvig
has apparently gone mad and has been institutionalized after attempting to
conduct scientific experiments at Stonehenge while naked. She has Selvig
released from a hospital's mental ward with the help of her own intern, Ian.
Thor, Loki and Foster confront Malekith and Algrim on Svartalfheim, where,
after a hoax in which Loki appears to betray Thor, Loki sacrifices himself to
keep Malekith from retrieving the Aether. It is to no avail, as Algrim batters
Thor and Malekith takes the Aether from Foster. Thor and Foster return to Earth
after stumbling upon a portal between realms. The battle shifts to London,
where Malekith, in a towering space-vessel, will use the Aether at the exact moment
and place of the Nine Realms' convergence to destroy the universe and restore
the dark-energy state in which the Dark Elves thrive. As Thor battles Malekith,
Foster and Selvig use devices they have constructed to shift energy where the
Nine Realms meet. At the last moment, they transport Malekith and his ship back
to Svartalfheim, where the crumbling ship crushes him.
In Asgard, Thor declines Odin's offer to take the throne and
tells Odin of Loki's sacrifice. As Thor leaves, the image of Odin reverts to
the true form of shapeshifter Loki, who, disguised earlier as a warrior, has
usurped the throne.
In a mid-credits scene, Volstagg and Sif visit the Collector
and entrust to his care the Aether, commenting that—with the Tesseract already
in Asgard—having two Infinity Stones so close together would be dangerous. As
they leave, the Collector remarks, "One down, five to go." In a
post-credits scene, Foster and Thor reunite on Earth.
The Book Thief is a 2013 American drama film based on the
novel of the same name by Markus Zusak, directed by Brian Percival and
screenplay by Michael Petroni, with musical score by John Williams. The film
stars Emily Watson, Geoffrey Rush, Sophie Nélisse, Ben Schnetzer, Nico Liersch,
and Joachim Paul Assböck.
Plot
The movie tells the story of young Liesel Meminger (Sophie
Nélisse). After she finds her first book beside her brother's graveside, she is
sent to foster parents Hans (Geoffrey Rush) and Rosa (Emily Watson). While in
the comfort of her new found parents, World War II breaks out and Rosa and Hans
shelter a Jewish refugee named Max (Ben Schnetzer).

Man of Tai Chi is a 2013 Chinese-American martial arts film
directed by and starring Keanu Reeves. The film is Reeves's directorial debut.
Man of Tai Chi is a multilingual narrative, partly inspired by the life of
Reeves' friend, stuntman Tiger Chen.
Plot
Tiger Chen is the sole student of his elderly master's Ling
Kong Tai Chi style. Whilst Tiger excels in the physical aspects of his
training, his master struggles to instill in him the philosophical aspects, and
fears for his character. Tiger harbours a determined ambition to prove the
martial effectiveness of the style, as he competes in the local Wulin contest.
When the mysterious Donaka Mark (Keanu Reeves) offers him a
"security" job, Tiger seizes the chance to escape his tedious day job
as a courier, but when he discovers that the "job" is to become a
paid contestant in an underground fighting ring, he refuses to compromise his
honour by fighting for money. However, he quickly relents when he discovers
that his master's 600-year-old temple faces a demolition order, and realises
that Donaka's money is his only hope of saving the temple.
In Donaka's fighting ring, Tiger is pitted against
formidable opponents in brutal, no rules combat. Donaka is clearly grooming
Tiger for some specific purpose, pushing him harder and harder. Tiger is well
paid for his time, and showers his parents with expensive gifts, but his
character begins to darken, and he becomes a more ruthless and cruel fighter.
Before long, his brutality sees him ejected from the Wulin contest in disgrace.
When this public shaming tarnishes the name of Ling Kong Tai
Chi, costing him the heritage protection order that was protecting the temple,
Tiger realises the error of his ways, and agrees to work with Hong Kong
detective Sun Jing Shi (Karen Mok) to bring down Donaka's deadly ring.
On the night of Tiger's final fight for Donaka's
organisation, he discovers that the audience of his fights have not only been
watching his fights, but an entire movie of secretly-filmed footage from his
life, designed to document the corruption of his character, culminating in his
first fight kill, planned for that night. He refuses to fight his designated
opponent, demanding to fight Donaka instead. He is able to stall his opponent
long enough for the police to arrive and shut down the enterprise.
Only Donaka escapes, and later challenges Tiger himself in a
one-on-one showdown in the courtyard of the Ling Kong Temple, where Tiger
finally defeats him with a fatal application of the darkest secret of Ling Kong
Tai Chi.

Free Birds is a 2013 American 3D computer-animated buddy
comedy film produced by Reel FX Creative Studios. Jimmy Hayward directed the
film, which features the voices of Owen Wilson, Woody Harrelson and Amy Poehler.
Originally titled Turkeys and scheduled for 2014, it was released on November
1, 2013 by Relativity Media.
Plot
Reggie the Turkey (Owen Wilson) has always been afraid of
Thanksgiving because turkeys have always been on the menu. However, his
attempts to warn his farm based flock constantly fall to deaf ears and has made
him an outcast. When the other turkeys finally realize what's going on, they
throw Reggie to the wolves in an attempt to save themselves. In a surprise
twist of fate, he winds up being named the "pardoned turkey" by the
President of the United States (Jimmy Hayward) and is subsequently taken to
Camp David. Although initially hesitant, Reggie soon eases into a routine of
doing nothing but enjoying pizza and telenovelas.
However, about three days before Thanksgiving, Reggie gets
bag-kidnapped by Jake (Woody Harrelson), the president and the only member of
Turkeys Liberation Front. Jake tells him that a "Great Turkey"
told him to find Reggie and take him back to the first Thanksgiving with him to
take turkeys off the menu once and for all. Despite interference by federal
officials and several attempts by Reggie to trick him back to the surface, Jake
manages to commandeer an egg shaped time machine with an AI software named
S.T.E.V.E. (George Takei) and takes Reggie with him back to the same day in
1621. Once there, they are immediately attacked and separated by colonial
hunters led by Myles Standish (Colm Meaney) but are quickly rescued by native
turkeys led by Chief Broadbeak (Keith David) and his two children, Hunter and
Jenny (Amy Poehler), the latter of whom Reggie is immediately smitten with.
Broadbeak explains that the turkeys in the area have been forced underground
since the settlers came and that they can't risk fighting back without the
settler taking them.
The next day, Broadbreak has Jake go with Hunter to spy on
the settlers with Reggie and Jenny spring all the hunting traps they've set up.
Despite initial hostility, Hunter and Jake find out that the settlers have
already begun preparations for Thanksgiving as well as where they hold their
weapons. Meanwhile, Jenny, who believes Reggie is making up being from the
future, is impressed with his unorthodox way of springing the traps. However,
they are soon intercepted by Standish and Reggie is forced to get her in orbit
over the planet aboard S.T.E.V.E., validating everything he said in the
process. Reggie tries to convince Jenny to go back to the future with him once
everything blows over, but she tells him she can't bring herself to leave the
flock no matter how much she likes him.
Jake drags Reggie away from Jenny and tells him he has a
plan to attack the settlers. However, Reggie has gotten sick of all his
unproved stories and threatens to leave. Desperate, Jake tells him that this
trip was more about him making up for him not being able to save three turkey
eggs while escaping a turkey fattening facility when he was younger, although
still maintaining that the Great Turkey convinced him to go through with this.
While still reluctant to believe what he said, Reggie sill goes along with the
plan. They manage to use gunpowder to destroy the weapons shack, but Jake
inadvertently leaves a gunpowder trail back to the tree the turkeys are hiding
under. Standish and his men flush the turkeys out from underground, capturing
enough for the feast and killing Broadbeak in the ensuing panic. Jenny is named
the new chief and orders the remaining turkeys to prepare an attack on the
settlers. Despite Jake's attempts to get him to stay, a heartbroken Reggie
heads back to the present.
Once back at Camp David, Reggie is confronted by three
future versions of himself. Through the awkward conversation, Reggie discovers
that he was the Great Turkey, having used S.T.E.V.E. to throw his voice and
appearance. Inspired, Reggie goes back in time to stop the attack, trapping
Standish in a hole in time in the process. Through S.T.E.V.E. and the pizza
delivery boy from the start of the film, Reggie convinces the settlers and the
arriving Indians that pizza is a more acceptable meal than turkeys, taking them
off the meal entirely. In the end, Reggie decides to stay with Jenny while Jake
takes S.T.E.V.E. in order to look for new adventure. However, Jake returns
moments after leaving and implies that their antics have caused the future to
be thrown out of whack.
